Blizzard announces Fall Championship plans; $1,000,000 prize pool up for grabs – sgamet.com

Blizzard has announced part of their Fall Global Circuit plans, with a very tempting prize pool to match.

With the reveal of all esports related events that will be taking place at this year’s Blizzcon, the location for the Heroes of the Storm Fall Global Circuit finals came too. Unsurprisingly, it is indeed at Blizzcon. With a large venue, a captive audience, close proximity to their headquarters, and taking place in the fall, it only makes sense that they’d want to end their 2016 esports plans right in their own backyard.

What’s more, the company have announced the total prize pool of the finals itself; a whopping quarter of the total of Blizzard’s $4,000,000 2016 prize money. There’s a lot on the line, not just because of the prize money, but NA and EU are sure to be anxious to prove themselves after such devastating losses at the Spring Global Championship.

More information about the event can be found here.
