Ace Combat 7 is one of the next big titles for PlayStation 4. The game just offered a playable VR demo at PlayStation Experience and revealed some new details regarding VR play. The game’s producer Kazutoki Kono said the core direction between normal gameplay and the VR experience is the same , with an area of 100 x 100 Km on the maps.
However, in VR the game is locked at 60fps, and there has to be some differences compared with normal play. Besides, the normal play focuses more on the details while the VR tends to offers more immersion in VR. The game’s main campaign and VR experience are developed “almost separately.”
