This week on Around the Verse, Chris Roberts and Tony Zurovec reveal how the Star Citizen vehicular modular system was leveraged into a character customization system, and a special installment of Ship Shape dives into the Anvil Hurricane.
Roberts Space Industries is a spacecraft manufacturer within the persistent-world game “Star Citizen” and its companion single-player spaceflight sim, “Squadron 42.” RSI is also your portal for information, updates, and purchases of your very own spacecraft with which to trade, plunder, and protect the citizens of Star Citizen.
It could be those dots around you when you fly. The dots that move when you move to show that you are moving… i hope you know what i am talking about. it in the game right now. so will there be specific aliens on specific planets or will the be random like no man’s sky ( I hate to draw any comparison to that game but it’s the only game I know even close to this)
I love star citizen, but they are the Apple of gaming – we invented “THIS” tech, but a large amount of the time, a good amount of the stuff already exists. An examplein this video is that one of the guys talking about character customization talked about how “when you get a jacket in other games it replaces your shirt with a generic one” and yet most games do not do this anymore.
I don’t even know where to start on this one. So much amazing content! Character and especially ship customization at this deep level is what I’ve wanted from a game for a long time…and Star Citizen looks like it will deliver. Can’t wait to see it in action!
Incredible star citizen development team, they’ll serious & working hard every day to produce the best ever tools and items so they can transform star citizen into a real phenominal mmo game experience, no doubt it’s going to be on top of all games.
